From Finland with love.

I'm wearing my sequins hot pants,a burnout racer back tank, some knee high socks, and wedges.
some mates said that i always look sad in my pictures,
but to be honest,i have sad eyes.i can be the happiest gal in this world
and everyone would think that i am deceiving them 'cos of my eyes.
my eyes reflect my inside...it's all.

on another note yesterday i went to the beach with my siblings and
the only part of my body that got a tan was my feet xD
i am still the same light skinned girly...though my freckles were flaunting
themselves as soon as the sunshine was hitting on them,i love them :)

    happy memorial day to all!
    hei hei.

Little Updates

Let's recap on some late updates on my KL trip. Well, went to KL on last Friday(Wesak Day) with mom. Main thing is to help bro shift stuff back to Ipoh as he had done his MUFY at Sunway. Congrats bro!

Yay! Driving around with own car but hate the heavy traffic flows! KL/PJ, jamming everywhere...
Went to 1U shop with mom, bro and his gf. End up getting sore feet after half day walking with heels. Back home and ordered Domino Pizza, first time have it and it is damn nice! Prolly bro is good in selecting the pizza which taste better. So tiring till dozed off !

Next day, had our brekky at Tmn Megah ->Dim Sum. Then went to Bangsar for boutique walkings. As usual, damn jam and hardly get a parking. Did not manage to visit each of the boutique, wish to go again. Love those shops and items are priced at a reasonable ones.
Rushed back to Ipoh as Mom have to attend wedding dinner. While I started to pack stuff back to Kampar.

And now, I am in Kampar blogging this after so many months. It changed alot, the whole town is crowded with students and cars. Traffic jam everywhere, sound horrible huh! Another thing is weather getting worse->hotter!!

Honorable Mention...

Sarah Jessica Parker has been wearing these Nicholas Kirkwood shoes all over the place promoting Sex and the City 2, and I can see why. They're beautiful, absolutely beautiful. Last time I thought pink and blue looked well together was when I was a little girl, I guess I'll have to rethink that.
Adding these beauties to my already infinite dream wish list...

'til you realize your solitude is only a phase you're going through for all the lonely,in the book of love.

"do you know what hurts most about a broken heart?not being able to remember how you felt before...try and keep that feeling,because...if it goes...you'll never get it back."
    "what happens then?"
"you lay waste to the world...and everything in it."

Tonight i have loads of plans!
my Sex and the City marathon with my siblings,i also have to bake Apollo some
lovely treats that i baked for Tink on her second birthday.
i also have to sketch out a couple of designs for my Fashion Industry class.
yesterday evening i received my book on Finland.
it's really such a fascinating read,i've learned so much in just one day.
i just have a couple of pages and i am done with the read :)

National Trust Allowing Interior Photography - Ickworth House, Suffolk

I recently went to Ickworth House a National Trust property in Suffolk. I have been there before and after walking around the grounds decided to go into the house to have another look around the the rooms. I turned my camera off ready for the warning that no photography is allowed inside and was amazed to see the sign saying "no flash photography". Apparently some houses are now allowing interior photography. Great news if you love taking photographs. I was delighted and out came the camera again. If you get a chance get to a National Trust property, go, they do make a great visit.

So if you get a chance head to a National Trust property and take some low light images and push that ISO up and see what your camera can do. If you are getting married they also provide weddings at the venue in the west wing.

Don't forget if you are looking for a wedding photographer in Norfolk give me a call.Source URL: http://lifestyleartsblogs.blogspot.com/2010/05/

She blew me a kiss goodbye.

If there was one thing that i wish my mum would have taught me,
it would have been to never give your heart away.
or to at least have given me a warning on how much love really hurts.
i wish she would have beat me and told me
"love hurts more than that.the bruises may fade away and never show,
but the scars that come from love are more profound, and will never heal.
and if you want to move on,it's like having to sell your soul."

CONVICT CONCERTO (Walter Lantz)

CONVICT CONCERTO is the 58th Woody Woodpecker cartoon, released theatrically on November 22, 1954. Woody is the piano tuner at the "Melody Music Shoppe." Check out these very musical pieces of background art, digitally re-assembled.

As the cartoon opens, we see Woody tuning a grand piano in the music store window.

Meanwhile, out in the street, there's a neighborhood bank being robbed.

After an exchange of gunfire, the robber flees, ducking into the music store. This digitally re-assembled pan B/G is the street in front of the "Melody Music Shoppe."

Woody continues tuning until rudely disturbed by the cash-toting gangster. He first confronts Woody here, just inside the front of the store:

Here's the scene of much of the cartoon's activity - the grand piano. Note the cel overlay bag-o-cash at the left!

Meanwhile, a policeman issues a "calling all cars" alert on the police alarm.

This wonderful pan B/G is the musical playground where Woody displays his virtuosity!

Look at the exquisite detail in this harp...

Left side detail, marimba and harp:

Right side detail including a policeman sitting on the stolen loot!

A big truck waits out front, for the get-away - to include the gangster, his mob buddies, the grand piano and the loot!

Here's a very loooooong pan B/G, the scene of a humungous explosion which wreaks obvious havoc on the store's instruments::

Left side detail, complete with euphonium (cel overlay):

    Right side detail:

Here's that harp we saw before, far less concert ready:

And here's the remains of a drum set and some band instruments...

The street, scene of the big get-away...

The get-away continues over this gorge...

    There's even a silent-movie-style railroad incident...

Ultimately, the bad guys end up where they belong... landing smack dab in the middle of a prison yard!
