A Night at Michelangelo's

Peeps! It is a Friday, guess many people are coming back to their hometown as the next day is a public holiday > Labour Day.

Let's talk about what I had did for a Friday night at Ipoh Garden East. Well, had a very very late dinner as I have something to busy earlier. Fetched my dearie Mimi to dinner with me, but before dinner, we went to Jusco grab a HADA LABO from Guardian as my skin is having severe skin peel and rashes. Heard that this MOISTURIZING LOTION is a top product in Japan with 1 sold in every 4 second in Japan!!

By the time we wanna have our dinner, it was already 10pm...drove around Ipoh Garden East searching for food and most of the restaurant were closed. ~Sad~
Plus, it is a Friday night, no parking as that area is a place where most young people hang out.
Thus, drove over Bandar Baru Medan and took our dinner at Michelangelo's. The staff in this restaurant was so friendly enough that they allow us to be their last customer although they are about to close the kitchen.

Oh ya, a short intro for this restaurant. Well, it is a Italian Restaurant serving hot, fresh pizza made from the wood-fire in their own firebrick oven. Find out more about Michelangelo's at http://www.j2kfm.com/michelangelos-pizzeria-ipoh/ , http://www.j2kfm.com/preview-michelangelos-pizzeria-ipoh/ .

The waiter introduce me their famous pizza> The Hog, it is a combination of sausages, cheese, hams, bacon and other ingredients. The waiter told me that we can have 2 flavor in one pizza, thus i selected The Hog and Diavolo (Beef Pepperoni with cheese). From the menu, the beverages served is so limited, so I ordered a Latte Macchiato and a Coke for Mimi. Notice their little blackboard introducing their weekly specialty>Lemon Cream Cheese. Can't resist but wanted a cheese cake so much!! So, I add on a dessert for our meal.

Tadaa, here comes our pizza!! Frankly, the pizza served in this restaurant is so nice. It is worth paying for such pizza with imported ingredients. The pizza was topped with alot of ingredients and cheese, unlike local pizza chain, pastry was thick and less ingredient. Well, one word to describe the pizza of Michelangelo's > Totally delicious!!! You must have a try!!

One more thing, desserts!!! When the dessert served, I get shocked as I thought it suppose to be a slice of cake but why a cup of creamy thingy?? I wonder...but I did not care too much and have a spoon into my mouth. Oh my gosh!!!!! Am gonna scream with this in my mouth!! It is a 100% Cream Cheese melting into your mouth with a light lemon taste, it is so damn delicious!!! I swear this is the first time ever in my life, I am so delighted and laugh non-stop when eating my dessert.
Salivalicious dessert!!! > Lemon Cream Cheese

Later on, the boss of the restaurant came back to help in closing the shop. He approached to each table's customer with a friendly smile and greeted them. He greeted me as well and asked if the food was okay. When he saw I am having my dessert, he asked for an opinion. I told him this is the best dessert I've ever had in my life, it is definitely a good one. He told me that he did not make it turn out to be a cake but a custard. Pure white custard of cream cheese? Guess what, he told me his secret recipe of how he make the dessert, whipped sour cream with cream cheese, add on with some lemon juice. It is a very simple steps but it taste so good!! Guys, u all must try this out!!!

Shop Update!

Whoa baby!!!

Life with baby Emmarie has been a bit rough these first few weeks. We battled a case of thrush, constant crying for 3.5+hours a day and acid reflux. We think we finally have the pretty little thing figured out - it makes me feel so good to know that a little bit of medicine can really ease the pain that she was feeling in her belly.

So now with a sleeping baby and a well-behaved 3.5 year old I am able to finally update my blog!

I am so excited to start my shooting season with Crystal and Greg's May 1st wedding tomorrow. The reception will host over 400 guests - the largest event I've ever been to!

Earlier this week I became an accomplished speaker with the Professional Photographers of Michigan. I presented a boudoir program and hands-on demonstration to a group of 50. I had a great time speaking and think I may have found a new niche for me! I'll blog more about the event with more details and photos over on the boudoir blog at www.unveiledportraits.com

And, just a reminder to become a 'fan' or 'like' both Ardent Photography and Unveiled Portraits on Facebook... I will soon release the dates and availability for High School Seniors as well as specials and a BIG announcement!

    Happy Friday!

I don't know you,and i don't want to.

My mood is such rubbish today.
i could seriously just sleep forever.
i don't want to be here right now,i'm quite exhausted and
my head is full blown in the clouds.
this class is so boring :/
    i feel homesick!!!!
can't wait 'til 5 to get out of here and head home in the train.
it's really cleansing for me;in a sense, wandering in my thoughts while listening to music
    and aimlessly staring at strangers.
i wouldn't have it any other way.
soon as i go home i'm going to shower or take a bubble bath, and
    hit the mattress.i'm a mute today;when aren't i?,such an introvert.
but still i'm not talking to anyone,i don't feel like it.
    it's one of those days.

Digital Composite

Here is a piece i created highlighting the fall out from the Chernobyl disaster in 1986. Dark subject matter i know but i had this image of a child and it was slightly disturbing, i had recently watched a documentary on this subject and wanted to produce an unsettling composite portraying in some way the devastation that can occur in relation to nuclear power.Source URL: http://lifestyleartsblogs.blogspot.com/2010/04/

A Tiring Thursday

    *A late update post.

Well, it all started off with a wakey at 730am!! No choice, Mami was yelling at me already, forced to wake up and accompanied her for brekky. Next, joined my sista for Dim Sum session at Foh San...an expensive yet taste doesn't seem any better dim sum in town. The so-called famous dim sum in town has become less delicious than previous due to too much of changes in the mood...modernized and with different kinds of weird creations....Yikes!

Done with brekky, accompanied sista for a shop at Jusco. Wonder what so great about Jusco, spent 5hrs there?LMAO...
Back home was already 4 something late noon, was damn tiring and sleepy...nap on the sofa unexpectedly....until mom back home from work, jump down from sofa and do the house chores. Sigh!! Am going GG....* two days with 3hrs sleep only!*

Dropped mom at the bus station as she is going to join Dad's convention and functions at SG Convention Center. Congrats to Daddy for being selected as the Lions Club 308-B2 DistrictGovernor for fiscal year 2010-2011. Mommy gonna faint to be the spouse coz keep on buying evening gowns and dresses...going to broke soon....

Next, yum char session at Oldtown Kopitiam Ipoh Garden East with funny Alex, Sam, Mimi and Suzanne. Indeed, a farnee night with all lame jokes and IQ question...

And yeah...gonna be free for this couple of days but at the same time tiring as well. Alot things need to be handle and represent parents for dinner ...etc.
Oh gosh...I need REST!! Need spa and massage to rejuvenate myself...*suffering from backache again*

    p.s: I want to watch ORANG BESI & ORANG DAUN...*quoted by Mr.Leroy*^.^Source URL: http://lifestyleartsblogs.blogspot.com/2010/04/

Duck Jam & Rubber Duck Derby

I am here to stay, roaring with the wind...there's life within.

Today is a windy day :)
i absolutely woke up late for school and didn't do anything to my hair...
well the wind styled it a bit for me.
i took a couple of pictures with my finland flag in dedication
to the lovely men that i miss dearly.
so i can't wait for this saturday,i am going to eat sushi with my long time
friend...or as i would like to call him davidtelo. These are the sequin shorts i wore to the HIM show last friday, with leggings of course.
and with a different shirt also.
i LOVE them, their so comfy and sparkly.
yeah,as you can tell i was in a mood to take loads of pictures.
i came home from school giddy and happy...thank you Ville <3
ugh,a bad thing about today is mum keeps asking me questions!!!!
"how was your day?" "do you know where this is?" "Did you get me that fabric?"
"i love your soft hair" "can i get that?"
aaaaaaaaaaaaah!can't people get that i love being alone, don't bother me!!!
    bloody hell i'm such a prude,but i truly don't like being bothered
by my mum,she asks the most ridiculous questions.
i can go from being happy to angry and annoyed 'cos of her.
school is the same everyday,my days are always the same.ALWAYS THE SAME!
    yes i did this,got you that,okay,uuugh.
i need to relax hahaha mum!
but overall;so far,my day is going great.
i just don't want to think about classes tomorrow 8-5 -____-
it always puts me in the worst mood.but at least their fun classes,
and at least this quarter i didn't get a saturday class.
so i think tonight i'm going to officially move Sidley into my bedroom.
she wasn't allowed in their by my parents for obvious reasons;asthma and allergies.
    but i don't care,she belongs in my chamber,my solace,my privacy :)

Toivottavasti kaikki on ottaa hyvä päivä

Wymondham Abbey, Norfolk

One of my favourite places to take my camera for the evening is Wymondham Abbey. Over the years I have walked to the abbey either in the morning or at dusk as the light is going down. It's so easy to take a great picture and if you are local I encourage you to do the same. For the history buffs amongst you, the abbey was founded in 1107 and was a monastry until 1448 when the Pope allowed it to become an Abbey. 1559 saw the Kett rebellion a protest regarding enclosure that ended with Robert Kett being hung over the side of Norwich Castle and left to die over a number of days. His brother William was taken back to the Abbey and the same fate was given to him.

At night the Abbey and its ruins take on a different feel:

The Abbey recently celebrated its 900th birthday with the ruined tower being light by coloured lights:

Early morning in the summer is a great time to take a picture so remember to take your cameras:

Nowdays many weddings are conducted at the Abbey, so if you're thinking about getting married there, I can assure you the photographs would be fantastic.

Don't forget if you need a wedding photographer in Norfolk to give us a call.
