Shu Uemura Skin Purifier

Finally! Got my Shu Uemura cleansing oil, wondering what so big deal about it? Coz Ipoh does not have Shu Uemura outlet! Big thanks to a friend who brought it back from Taiwan as it's cheaper than local! (kiasu person here :P)

2 x 150ml for the price of RM130! Yes , no kid! It's RM130 for 2 bottles at 150ml per bottle! More like buy 1 free 1, heh!

Again, my skin suffer from dehydration once I shifted back to hometown. Prolly due to the different air condition or water or temperature, whatever causes it is and most importantly am sleeping in an air condition room! Been so hard working on my daily rescuer Hada Labo and Laneige sleeping mask, it does help but there are still skin peeling on the nose area.

What's the difference between this two cleansing oil?
Green bottle-> Cleansing Beauty Oil Premium A/O with green tea extract containing catechin, known for anti-oxidant properties, to revitalize dullness skin and help restore radiance. It has a light green tea aroma, not too heavy and suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin.

Pink bottle-> High Performance Balancing Cleansing Oil Fresh contains cherry extract to remove excess dead skin cells and help tighten pores. Highly recommended for oily skin. Still, it is suitable for all skin types.

Start using both of the cleansing oil, yes both! I use the green one at night and the pink one in the morning.

Why? It's because the pink one is more recommended for oily skin, although it is for all skin types. As we applied skin care stuff on our skin in the night and go to bed, the next morning your skin will feel oily, it is the oil sebum or the skin care stuff applied, etc. So, use the High Performance Balancing Cleansing Oil Fresh to cleans it before your cleanser. While at night, you use the Cleansing Beauty Oil Premium A/O as it has green tea extract with anti-oxidant to help restore your skin radiance after a long-day.

After 1 week of usage, manage to shoo away my skin peeling problem and tighten the pores! (I've got large pores bothering me for years!) And yay! I will continue use it every day and night regardless am with make ups or not.

Kita No Zen, Hokkaido Ichiba @ The Gardens, Mid Valley City.

If u read my previous post, you'll notice I blogged about Hokkaido Ichiba's ice cream. And now I'm going to blog about the food! Hokkaido Ichiba is the one that serve ice cream so the F&B ones would be Kita No Zen. Although the earthquake/tsunami in Japan happened just happened, moreover comes along with the radiation thingy, it does not affect the Jap food business here. Many people dine here especially during peak hour where you will need to queue in line. Being a big fan of Jap food, nothing beats me from hunting down the nyam nyam Nihon food!
Kita no Zen @ The Gardens Mall

Soft Shell Crab Temaki (Fried Soft Shell Crab Handroll) RM7/handroll

Eat it when it is served freshly. Easily chomp it down when the seaweed is still crunchy. The fried soft shell crab is very crispy and not overly fried or oily. *thumbs up*

Ankou Karaage (Fried Angler Fish) RM12. Squeeze few drops of lemon and go with the mayonese sauce. The fish was perfectly fried to golden brown and it taste great with a tad of salty flavor.

Buri Kama Shioyaki (Grilled Yellow Tail Neck) RM22

Another type of fish. I'm not into exploring species of fishes on the planet but this fish taste real good! Perfectly grilled and not charred. Squeeze on some lemon juice and eat it when freshly served. Juicy and yummy! The only downside was it is salty when you eat till the bottom part where you can see rocks of salt with bare eyes.

Oki Sashimi Moriawase (7 kinds) Akami, Kanpachi, Salmon, Amaebi, Hotate, Hirame & Ika. RM100.

All of them were freshly sliced raw fish.

    Insta-ed Sashimi shot!

*My apology for the bad resolution of pictures.

Hokkaido Ichiba Ice Cream @ The Gardens, Mid Valley City.

Am not much of an ice-cream fan but I do crave for it once in a while. Girls are always having the sweet tooth looking for desserts! *slurppp*

I am actually doing my shopping at the mall, looking for some stuff since it's the season of SALES. Crazy people conquered each and every corner of the mall. I started feeling grumpy as I dislike to squeeze with people and it is so damn pack at the mall! Am even sweating when I shop at my favorite outlet e.g. ZARA, MNG, TOPSHOP, MISS SELFRIDGE, etc. The crowd actually spoiled my mood and I couldn't find anything that suits me.

Out of sudden, Rebecca twitted me to join her at The Gardens to try out the Hokkaido ice-cream. Without further thinking, I dozed off to The Gardens. Hokkaido Ichiba is a japanese restaurant located on the third floor of The Gardens. Understood from Rebecca, Hokkaido Ichiba operates under the same management of Pasta Zanmai and Sushi Zanmai. Hokkaido Ichiba known as the "premium" one as their pricing is more expensive compared to Pasta/Sushi Zanmai.

Let's talk about the ice cream! They have a wide selection of ice cream and sherbets to choose from as well as the toppings. The pricing goes :
Single Scoop 40ml=RM3.80, Single Scoop 60ml=RM4.80, Double Scoops 40mlx2=RM6.80.

I chose the two scoops one as I wanted to try more than one flavor. Chosen my favorite Mango Sherbet and Black Sesame(Goma) RM6.80.Since I wanted to try only the ice cream, might as well try the authentic flavor without adding any toppings. The Mango Sherbet was a little too light in flavoring for my liking, prefer it to be sweet and richer in taste. The Black Sesame was rich in flavor, with bits of black sesame seeds, not too creamy and I love it! It scores better than Mango Sherbet. Anyway, I enjoyed every teaspoonful of velvety soft ice cream from Hokkaido.
You will not feel "jelak" of eating more as the ice cream comes in a very small scoop. Well, some might think that RM3.80 for a small scoop is a little too expensive but hey, you are savouring an imported ice cream. So it is value for money!

Later on, we had a second round of Hokkaido ice cream again as the Adverlets bloggers wanted to sample out the scrumptious Jap ice cream. Since we were so fascinated by the flavors available and there were 8 of us sharing, we decided to order the "Ice Cream Fantasy", with choices of 6 scoops of Hokkaido Ice Cream served on Waffle, RM23.80.
*Sorry couldn't recall the name for each of the flavor. Will update again soon!

Here's a better resolution from Feeq.

A neat quiet place for you to enjoy your favorite scoops. Well decorated with simple furnitures and great ambiance. You can spend your leisure time here, be it reading, working or hanging out with friends. Love the atmosphere there as it gives a touch of comfort.

Look! Uniquely decorated beautiful feature wall with different sizes of blocks. Indeed a great piece of artwork.

*I know am not photogenic =(*

Thanks to Rebecca for the photos and Alex for the shots.

Ashton-Ashton, De Garden, Ipoh

Ashton? Sounds familiar to you? Yeap, it's Amber Chia's baby boy's name! But chooop!! It is Ashton-Ashton, a newly opened boutique at Ipoh's new hang out zone->De Garden.

It's been 6 months away since my last shopping, I mean a REAL shopping! Since nothing much I can get from Jaya Jusco, Kinta City, made up my mind to find out what is the most recent boutiques available at De Garden. De Garden is a new place for hang out where most people will drop by to have their meals or walk around looking for gadgets or a small shopping at boutiques. Anyway, let's get into the topic!

Found out a new boutique on the ground floor, the decoration attracted me into the boutique. Upon stepping in, Christmas sentimentals were being played over and over again *it was a Christmas season*! This might sound weird to you but I walked to the counter once get into the boutique. Spotted some classy, stylish and adorable accessories->Rings. Since am looking for them, am gonna grab some home! The lady boss was generous enough, serving us with a great hospitality. Oh yeah, she is originally from Taiwan! All her stocks in the shop was imported from both Taiwan and Korea. Tried and tried on several rings, made up my mind to get a few with me. They are voguish and dashing enough, it might look harsh or huge but hey, this is the TREND! Got my favorite Owl, heart shaped ring, etc.

By the way, spotted some cute little thingy at the counter as well. There are varieties of perfume which comes in miniature sizes. It can be the best cute gift for your loved ones or just get them for collection! Each of them cost at RM39.90 only! The lady boss reminded us that those are not counter-feited products, they are the original perfume flew in to Malaysia all the way from Taiwan.

    Collections of the itty-bitty perfumes

Walked around the boutique and too many things caught my sight especially those accessories stuff, irresistible! Although I wish to get them all home with me but must have good control over allurement!!
Accessories ranged from earrings, necklaces, hair bands and pouches were placed in the center with old style lamp, vintage mirrors and some others British like decos.

     Earrings brought in from Korea

Clothes were well fold and placed on the couch, the clothes were abit pricey.

Anyway, the concept of the boutique is of contemporary, vintage and authentic. It is well decorated with the light chandelier, delicately trimmed with crystal glass droplets on the ceiling, which brightens up the shop with cozy feelings.

The shop were well-furnished with some English home decoration such as the sofa(s) and mirrors, which highlighted on the latest vintage trend. Overall, the boutique creates a homey and comfortable feeling to the customers who walk in to their shop.
Necklaces placed on the Laura Ashley English style sofa

Accessories, clutches on the rack. Love the antique mirror on the wall

Antique Romantic Mirror, love it so much!!

    Over the counter
    Awwww~ Cute little thingy

Drop by at Ashton-Ashton, De Garden if you are looking for fashionable, contemporary clothings and accessories. There are new stock in store every two weeks! Like their page here! Ciaoz~
