So what about a group of hispanic men that jump a korean man simply for being korean? Both groups are minorities.

Likewise, blacks are the majority in a black ghetto. It's just that, when you look at the country as a whole, they are the minority.

if you think that apple have enough time to speak to every one with this istalled you are wrong! they will however stop people distributing it... this has been shown many times over the past few weeks.
i am proud to say i am running 10.5 on my top end mini, and will be updating it to leopard beta V0.2

Anyone else think this is a little too public? And it's not a very comfortable place to sit having coffee�no matter how good the food is. I imagine a couple of billionaires could have found a more comfortable and more private place for coffee and a chat, unless they're being deliberately "public".

Honestly, neither of us is a marketing guru. However, we both do know a few things:
1) Apple's market share has been increasing recently (simultaneously with its Intel transition and introduction of new ads)
2) Apple recently claimed that it believes market share has been increasing partially because of these ads at its recent quarterly report.
3) Apple has committed millions of dollars to both developing these ads and paying for them to be seen on both popular television programming and internet websites.
I'm sure Apple and its marketing team knows better than we do - they wouldn't keep showing these ads if they believed they had a negative effect on the marketplace.
Then by what? Thes ads certainly arent hurting Apple.
Exactly - enlighten us. How do you know why its marketshare has increased as of late? Neither me nor freeny claim that its SOLELY because of the ads - but how can you prove that the ads haven't convinced 1 single switcher...?

"Informed people" is self-explanatory. I don't intend to spoon-feed you a response just so you can intentionally misrepresent it a third time.
What I'm trying to do is understand your logic. The reason I'm summarizing your position is because I want to avoid misrepresenting you before I go on to explain my own point of view. Please show me where I misrepresented you. This isn't a political debate. I am only asking questions because I actually want to know the answers, not because I'm trying to "win". I believe the Consumerist will be more than willing to hype incorrect information it has received from an uninformed rep if it means increased site traffic, especially if it furthers the aim of hyping up a theme that's en vogue right now. It's a blog with a business interests and it receives revenue based on traffic, and that means it, like any other blog with business interests, has an agenda to pursue.
So like every other "news" source on the internet, I take what I read with a grain of salt.
Surely you must have proof of them using sensationalism (such as TechCrunch) rather than siding with the telcos who consistently lie and overcharge for services like SMS? As far as I know The Consumerist has been around for years blogging about consumers rights and unlike AT&T who Astroturfs against net neutrality.

Greedy or not, if Apple and RIM are part of some patent infringement they have to pay up.
First, there is an "if" in that statement. Second, they wouldn't have to pay what Kodak demands, but actual damages. Third, Kodak has a market caps of $944 million, so if Apple and/or RIM thought there was any danger they have to pay $1bn, they would buy the company. Apparently they don't.

2. 32GB and 64G storage.
3. 1080P recording with 8 megapixel camera
4. A5 chip
5. Maybe higher ram or maybe not.
6. Throw in something new... like better gyroscope or something to just make iPhone 4 outdated, but nothing major.
This is BS. It's not good enough, apple.

My experience getting my wisdom teeth out was much the same as everyone has described. The weirdest part has got to be how you don't feel the passage of time at all from the moment you are sitting on the chair and lose consciousness, and the next moment when you're lying down in the recovery room.
Normally when you sleep you are still somehow aware of how much time you have been asleep... you can wake up at 3:00am and realize you haven't slept very long, or you can wake up at noon and realize you've way overslept. Not so when they have you under.
It actually made me really appreciate the power (and danger) of date rape drugs... if this is what happens, you really wouldn't be aware of anything.

He's better than the McCain would have been in most things, but on a whole he gives in to the Republicans way too much. He passed their healthcare plan instead of one that would actually work, kept Guantanamo open, and as far as "National Security" goes he's about the same as Bush. So basically, he was the best of the two choices, but still not very good.

Good point (truly) ... but I stand by what I said too. I think if your scenario wwas true then we would see Creative Zen adapters or SanDisk Snasa adapters on the market - at least they have proven marketshare against the iPod. Still ... it will be interesting to see how this will pan out.
What i wonder is if the Wifi the Zune uses for file transfers will be banned on planes. If it's not, then i want to be able to use Wifi for any device on a plane.

However, a lot of stores don't use Windows (pretty much any small business that uses those casio cash registers doesn't, and many chains like 99 cent stores just use those tiny keyboard-is-the-computer registers that I am 100% certain DO NOT run Windows).
On that note, I can tell you that Dish Network uses Linux on all of their receivers, but then Comcast and VZ use Windows on their receivers *ponders*
