How can something like this be for "some phones?" Doesn't make much sense to me--seems more likely to be a problem with the carrier--mine did fine figuring out it was now daylight savings time. :confused:

Ethnicity doesn't say anything other than the color of the persons skin. However, intelligence and stuff are things that actually can affect wether you are qualified or not. Two quite different things, if you ask me.

I messed with it for about 5 minutes and it's nowhere near Soundtrack, IMO. Now I'm not an audio or video pro, but I like to do some tinkering. But as someone else stated, Adobe Audition is much more competition to Soundtrack is than SoundBooth.
Also, this doesn't necessarily need to be a UB. Heck, from what I saw it doesn't really even fill a need with the Intel Macs. Logic and Soundtrack seem to be much better options.

I'm trying to install Panther on our G3 iMac DV from the back up disks that came with our new G5 iMac. (G3 iMac DV: 10.2.8; 768MB; 80GB)
Among the bundled software is Nanosaur 2.0 (pretty fun). It is not supported on the G3.
The install options are:
1. Panther + bundled applications
2. Bundled applications only
3. OS 9 only
There is no Panther-only install option that I can determine.
When I attempt to install on the G3, the installer determines that the target machine does not support the bundled software (as noted above) and stops.
I've inspected the directories of all the back up disks and have not found anything useful.
Does anyone know a work-around to this issue? Or if I want Panther on the old machine, will I have to purchase a Panther upgrade?
One final question: Will my proof of purchase coupons entitle me to a copy of Panther or Tiger that I could install on the G3 iMac?

I could see it being beneficial in some cases, such as being used as an access key to identify you or to identify you as the buyer of E-tickets (but at the same time, it would allow retailers to identify you when you walk in the door; which would allow advertising conglomerates to collect even more data on you. It's on their site but in another colour, they do the same case with wood instead of carbon fibre, the leather case designed to work with the smart cover looks pretty good IMO

Really this is stupid. Think about it buying a mac is like buying a high end sports car and buying a windows machine is like buying a low end junk car. Now don't get me wrong they both get you from point a to point be but let's face it it's funner and sexier to drive the sports car. NO I know fixing the sports car may be more prier but lest face it you really won't need to fix it very often and in most cases you might get comped on the repairs. Now the low end car over time will need to get fixed and I know it may be cheaper but all the little stuff adds up. I am just saying.

The high vantage point and the stuffed animals on the table really make this shot. It's a picture with contrasts on many levels: white/black, obese/gaunt, tough/cuddly, nonconformist/mainstream, just to name a few. Very nice address to the theme, Keleko.
I would probably crop in tighter, since the empty chair and so much railing is not adding anything to the image. You could come in at the top, left, and right, and get us that much closer to this eccentric couple.

I completely agree about the similarities making a nice counterpoint to the differences. I probably wouldn't call this one a "literal interpretation" of contrast, though, since it goes so far beyond just being dark versus light. (I guess I think of contrast at its most basic as involving tonality.)

Who cares...I like them both. 'Killing in the name' reminds me of my Youth, it is an old good tune and its nice to have it back. Saying that Joe is a lovely young singer under the Simon Cowell claws, forced to sing a totally unsuitable song. Before they even started x-factor finalists live shows they already declared that song being xmas number 1. I am glad that they were wrong in a way. Simon Cowell is still laughing though as it totally boosted Joe's song sales as everyone who actually liked it (or was brainwashed to like it) bought it! So there we go...all it did was creating publicity! Lets be happy that we get so much choice of music and if we don't buy it we can still listen to it on spotify!

What they should do is offer a option for those people who expect a modern computer to be just that.

But if someone else creates a product in the arena of digital music, and the name of their product intends to capitalize on the popularity of the term "iPod", then if Apple doesn't actively protect their trademark, they run the risk of losing rights to the trademark entirely, so that in fact, not only would someone in the future be allowed to sell under a "mypodder" or similar name, they could actually create ipod clones and sell them under the name iPod!
Of course, it'd never get that far, since you'd have to have legal department of morons to allow that to happen.
