KODAK WEDDING & PORTRAIT AWARDS FINALISTS!

We are over the moon to announce that we have been shortlisted as finalists in the Kodak Wedding & Portrait Awards 2010 with two of our wedding images!

We are down to the last six wedding photographers in the UK and will find out if we are named "Kodak Wedding Photographer of the Year" in October at the prestigious Master Photographer of the Year Awards 2010 where we also have no less than 5 images in the final!

Our Brides & Grooms whose images have been shortlisted for the Kodak finals are:

Gemma & Alan Morton who got married in St Andrews on April 24th

Alan & Sian McKeeve who had their wedding at the Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh on 25th July

Both our couples have won Kodak 10 megapixel digital cameras and if we are named Kodak Wedding Photographer of the Year 2010, either Gemma & Alan or Alan & Sian will receive a nice cheque for £1000! Unfortunately all we get is a certificate & a trophy but never mind the title is enough for us!

Every entry fee into the Kodak Wedding & Portrait Awards is being donated to the charity PACE who help children with physical disabilities.

Here are the two images through

Sian & Alan's Wedding 25th July 2010, Wedding Photography at the Balmoral Hotel, Edinburgh

Sunday 25th July was Sian & Alan's Wedding day. The ceremony and reception was at the Balmoral Hotel on Princes Street in Edinburgh.

Sian & Alan had booked us after seeing the wedding album we had produced for their friends Jill & Russel Queen, who were married at Dundas Castle a couple of years ago. Jill & Russel have a stunning album so the pressure was on!

We don't think we dissapointed! Sian & Alan were keen to spend time on creating beautiful images of the two of them which is what we love doing best, so after the groups were photographed we took Sian & Alan around the hotel and shot some amazing interior pictures with low light.

After that we whisked the Bride & Groom off to Princes Street Gardens where we got absolutely stunnning images by the fountain, the steps up to Princes Street itself and also St Cuthbert's Church Yard.

Here's a few of the shots we took.
