Today I'm attempting to make
a faux butterfly display to give to my son Daniel
for his birthday in November.
a faux butterfly display to give to my son Daniel
for his birthday in November.
I painted the butterflies with watercolors first,
then cut the wings with my X-acto knife
and folded them just slightly to give the effect
of a real mounted one.
I'm really happy with the result
but it turned out to be much more labor intensive
than I thought it would be...
I plan to frame it in a nice shadow box.
