There's a whole lotta love going on in the background art circles. This piece from LADY AND THE TRAMP just arrived from our friend Dan Johnson. (Great perspective!) Thanks for sharing, Dan!

LADY AND THE TRAMP

OK, after a pleasant diversion, we return to the Disney Studios background art, today from LADY AND THE TRAMP.

Up the street...

In front of the house...

Up the steps...

On the front porch...
Wait, let's turn right, and head to the side of the house...
and the backyard...
Finally, a beautiful interior...

Note the progression of the sunrise, and the changes in lighting and color palettes on the landscape in the next three backgrounds.

LADY AND THE TRAMP

I always enjoy hearing from readers. It is a special kick to get emails from around the world.

Today I received two cheery emails from a gentleman named Pete Turner, from Sutton Coldfield, England.

He sent THIRTY gorgeous backgrounds from LADY AND THE TRAMP, and generously gave permission to share them with you.

Enjoy these, readers! I know Pete spent a great deal of time and creative energy digitally recreating these.

Thank you, Pete! All I can say is WOW! Here is the first installment:

LADY AND THE TRAMP: Sunrise, Sunset

This artwork is a special request from/for my dear friends Bob & Barb Cornish from Adelaide, Australia. They are simple screen grabs which needed no elaborate Photoshop work. But the art is indeed very special. Enjoy!Source URL: http://lifestyleartsblogs.blogspot.com/search/label/LADY%20AND%20THE%20TRAMP
