I got the awesome opportunity to spend a week in California for our the Burley Bobcat Band performance trip. It was so much fun!!
I got the awesome opportunity to spend a week in California for our the Burley Bobcat Band performance trip. It was so much fun!!
We set out on a very rainy sunday afternoon and set out to Buena Parke
After a long night on the bus, we finally arrived at knotts berry farm!
Okay so funny story, there was this guy and he is really...hmm femmy! I thought he was hilarious though so after the show everyone dared me to get a picture with him so as we were walking out I asked him if I could get a picture with him like I am a huge fan and he was all "lets do this!"The next day we got up early and went to the block mall. I am in front of the Ron Jon surf shop there are only 3 of them in the world so that was pretty cool! The mall was awesome me, chelsae, and shawnae got some yummy strawberries and cream frappuccinos from starbucks and we did lots of shopping!
After we spent a few hours at the mall we headed to Huntington Beach! Heck yes me and chelsae spent most of the time in the waves splashing around it was lots of fun. Then when we got sick of the waves we had a seashell war to see who could collect the most seashells...I won of course! haha jk

After the beach we went to the hotel and had 15 minutes to get ready it was so crazy! I jumped in the pool to wash some of the sand off and got ready as fast as I could but it definately wasn't 15 minutes. Luckily the dinner show was right across the street from us so we weren't too late. We then got to go to a pirates dinner show and it was lots of fun and the food was YUMMY!

Shawnae, chelsae, and meSo after the pirates show everyone just kinda chilled at the pool at we were all craving a frappuccino again haha so we found a chaperone and luckily a starbucks was really close to our hotel so we walked there and got one it was soo yummy!
The next day we got to go to Disneyland and towards the end of the day we marched in the main street parade and it was kinda cool seeing the "behind-the-scene" stuff from disneyland.

The next day we decided to hit the other theme park California Adventure! This is us in front of a huge sun wheel towards the entrance of the park.

haha so after getting souvineers and stuff we decided to eat in downtown disney! We went to this jazz kitchen and it was pretty good! While we were sitting there I "accidentally" squirted some ketchup on this guy!
Chelsae slurping and icee!! She had been craving one the whole trip haha. Ok so the whole entire trip, when we got bored to entertain ourselves we would have smiling contests(last person to crack a smile wins) so anyways chelsae would always make this face only like her mouth open and it would make me crack like every time. But it was way funny haha

After a long week in california we hit the road home at about 9:00pm, we didn't get very far though before bus #3 broke down! We were just outside the gates of disneyland for about 4 hours. Then we made a pit stop and finally got on the rode around 4 in the mornin! We then finally started heading home. After a few stops, a lot of laughs and crazy time, we FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY got home at around 9:30 at night!! We were on a bus for more than 24 hours! AHH but it was fun it was way worth it but I was soo glad to be home and finally sleep in my own bed.
