    of the year!

The new year is still wrapped in the foil of future, just like this sign, but in a few hours the foil will dissolve and we will all see what the new year has in store for us. Hopefully only good things! I wish all of you a fantastic start into the new year.

    Happy New Year!!!

Broken Glass

Some sunshine at last

The "evening" sun (it was 3 in the afternoon) in my new flat. After a week of dark grey skies and rain, this sunshine felt soo good.

Those watersteamclouds on the left are from the power station Lippendorf, which is about 20k south of Leipzig.

Can you see the Rockbiter from the Neverending Story on his bike? Right to right of water steam column?

My saviour these days:

    Chocolate

650 bucks for a bedframe and when we wanted to put it together it didn't fit!!! And since today is a public holiday in Saxony I have to wait till tomorrow for the service to show up to fix it. Which means more procrastination in terms of moving, since I can't finish the shelf before the bed is properly build and that means I can't bring over more of my books today. (Leading to chaos in my old room. While I didn't have a problem with chaos when I was younger, I started to really dislike it throughout the last year.)

The kitchen isn't finished either, I still have no workplate and since I have such an expensive taste I always end up liking the plates which are really expensive with their print (Palisander, anyone). Argh.

The bath still has no mirror, my desk is still in my old room, so are my plants, paperwork (strewn all over my desk) and jewellery. But my clothes are already over there!

    It's sooooooooo frustrating.

Engineers Photographic Playground - New Series starting now

Sometimes you stumble about some stuff and can't stop taking pictures of it. It happened to me during my Sunday bike ride with Chris (It's most likely to happen on those rides). We found this place where there were huge tubes and muffs waiting to be build in the sewer system. I shot at least two films there, and most of the pics have come out fabulous.

One of those pics is one of my "free" entry pics for the Nikon Photo Contest, but it's not the one above.

Torturing you with the Sunlight Session

Come in with style

Crane - Leipzig

Back to the roots. Back to Lomo fisheye. Just shot half a film on our balcony in the evening light. I think I will use tomorrows blistering heat for some park pictures. Or maybe I'll get up really early on Sunday morning for park pictures. Or maybe....Source URL: https://lifestyleartsblogs.blogspot.com/search/label/Things
