Wolkenburg Church - a few details

The church as whole, including parking space.

A few weeks back I went with my parents and my Grandpa to "Wolkenburg" (Cloudcastle) in Saxony, where my Grandpas parents had lived in the 1950s. Wolkenburg is a sweet village with an old castle (over 800 years) and a really beautiful church St. Mauritius. Since I had awesome light I took tons of pictures. And here are a few pictures of it. My Dad got annoyed over me taking my sweet time with the photography, even though he had told me earlier that day, that I should make an exhibition.

    Enjoy your Friday everone.

Again, all photographies you can buy via my DaWanda-Shop. Just tell me in my newest post here, which one you want and I'll put it up on DaWanda

Leipzig at Night series - The open gate

Way back in last August Chris and I were doing our nightshots in Leipzig, and we had tons of fun during these few hours. This is one of the few pictures taken with the Lomo that worked out. Since I can't screw the Lomo Fisheye 2 on a tripod, I always need to find something to steady it on for long exposures. In this case I took the wall.

Need a bit of cooling down? There you go...

I took this picture last December. During the winter I mostly used my Digital Ixus, since there wasn't enough light for my Lomo most of the time. On this film I found pictures from last October too.

The house on the left is what is called a "Platte", it's a house build of concrete panels. I live in a "Platte" and I was lucky, because I have a fantastic view over Leipzig and woodland and it is quite quiet, which surprised me.

    Have a wonderful new week.
