Royal Love

    Yes, I was one of the 2 billion people that tuned in to see commoner Kate Middleton marry Prince William Arthur Philip Louis. I was busy working on projects so, I just stayed up the rest of the night to watch the wedding. Mom woke up at 3 a.m. to join me and we watched it all together. I tweeted along the way commenting on all the fun details. It was exciting to share this moment in history with my mom. I will forever remember this moment in time, and that's special. That's why I watched. What really made this whole wedding thing so fun to watch was the fact that you can tell the couple is truly in love. They both just seemed extremely happy. You could sense the pure joy and love.

    Favorite parts were of course the dress that I am in love with, Harry sneaking a peak of the bride and whispering to William, and then the couple taking moments to look and smile at one another.







    This dress was straight out of my dreams. Seriously, it's like Kate knew what my dream dress was in my head and had it created. I am in love with this dress and Kate wore it beautifully. She wore the dress, it didn't wear her. Every detail of this gown was perfect. Just enough lace, but not too much. Conservative and yet a touch of sexy all at the same time.     As Kate walked down the isle William kept his back to her to save the moment of seeing her until she was right beside him. But his brother Harry just couldn't wait and took a sneak peak. After catching a look he smiled and turned to William and whispered something with a chuckle. A great sibling moment. Read about it here.







    This is so fun that the couple left the palace in a convertible, with balloons intact. Clearly a modern day Royal couple.

    Loved watching the whole event and of course I am still watching all the specials being aired today.

    Well, I really believe I'm an exact 50/50 blend of both my parents, but everyone that knows my mom always tells me how much I look like her (especially people that knew her at my age now). My dad always says that I got the best of both of them, and I'd like to think that is true. I'm creative and bold like my dad, but I'm also scholastic and reserved like my mom. You may wonder, how can you really be both? Well, there's a time and a place for everything. It's a quality that I think really helps me relate to a multitude of people.

    What prompted me to make this post today was because yesterday after picking something up from my dad, at his work, I ran into a gentleman that has known my parents for years. Right before I left he said, "You really look like your mom." It kind of made my day because I think my mom is gorgeous. The ironic thing about everyone thinking we look alike is that if you really break down our features, none of them are really the same, except our brown hair. Plus, I was blessed with my father's body, long torso and short legs. I even have the same back problems he has, thanks.

    With all that said, I'm glad I can remind people of my beautiful mama.

    ^My parents dated for a month before my dad proposed, but he said he knew she was the one just after their first date. But, the great part is that they are still together after 26 years of marriage. They're in it for the long haul. I love these early pics of them, but doesn't my dad look Amish in two of those pics?

    Now back to mom and me. I leave you with one last pic. Most of my favorite pics with mom and me are still in the family albums and yet to be scanned into the computer, but this one isn't bad.

    My mom is a hard working, selfless, person who has devoted her life to helping others succeed. She's a high school English teacher who wants the best for all of her students, and does way more than what's expected of her. Thank you mom for all you've done for me and everyone around you. Homey Weekend

    Another weekend commenced, due to the notice on no electric supply in Kampar, I've decided to go back hometown again this week. It's a homey weekend which means I will not go anywhere but sit still at home be home guard with my doggies. Yea....home guard, parents not at home again.

    Saturday......
    Lonely weekend at home but I enjoy it! Students from Kampar are evacuating to Ipoh before time strikes 12am because there will be a 4hours blackout in Kampar. Sista Emilie wanted to come over, so I invited her if she wants to stay over. Later on, sista Fiona staying over as well. Fetched her at Gopeng's 24hr McD Restaurant. To my surprise, it was full house until there are people standing outside waiting for seats. Big thanks to them for putting a night over and accompanied me. We watched two movies since there is nothing else for us to do. Watched "Alvin & The Chipmunks 2" and "It's Complicated". I prefer the latter ones which makes me laugh out loud. Watched movie till 6am!!! This is so crazy, but once in awhile with the sistas. Gotta force ourself to bed, feels so good squeezing four of us on two single bed. None of us fall asleep yet and we had a short pillow talk. Yup!! I love pillow talk!!

    Reviews on "It's Complicated": It is a 2009 movie with romance and comedy. Yup, it's an old movie and I only downloaded it recently. I might be kinda staying outdated but at least I watched them now. *grin*
    This is a great movie I would recommend If you haven watch them yet. It will definitely cheer up your day with a non-stop laughing ones.

    Awww.....it's Sunday! A tiring day with few hours of sleep and house chores+assignments killed me. Did something surprising for babe Chin Lee. Actually is lending a help for her hubby Edwin. So sweet of them celebrating their first anniversary on 23rd August. Although Edwin current location is in UK but he has the heart of getting a bouquet of flowers for his wifey. A simple ones, important is the thought that counts.

Lovely Weekend

    Awhhh, I love my weekend so much although it is a real tired ones than ever. Driving around, caught in traffic jams, messed around with peoples, movies, sleep and eat...A real relaxing weekend for me, leaving those nerve-racking stuff aside.

    Went to PJ on last Friday, popped by bro's place and it was awfully tiring, almost fall asleep. But I can't sleep yet coz have to finish up the assignments as promised. Tummy drooling.....Told bro I miss Domino's Pizza. He ordered two pizza and we had our dinner-Pizza at his little cottage. It's filling and I can continue my journals thingy.

    While waiting for that pig to finish work, I almost fall asleep again after done with assignments. It is almost midnight when reached pig's place. Thought of hitting the sack but end up online edit assignments and chat with friends, slept at 3am. GG.com

    Yay! Managed to sleep till noon on a Saturday, sweet♥. Something happened on our way out from house, thank God everyone was safe. Continue our journey to Segambut for the famous Seafood noodles. It's a large bowl of noodles full with seafoods!! Previously, I had the soup ones and now I tried the curry ones. It is awesomely delicious with those freshly picked seafoods. It's my second visit to this shop and I am still loving it! Here's some reviews on the famous Yu Ai's Restaurant Seafood Noodle. 

    Located at Segambut Utara (Segambut North) is a little township sprawled with small/medium industrial lots. And amidst these workshops and factories, is Restoran Yu Ai … a very popular spot for their Seafood Noodle. Yu Ai’s tawny curry is deep and complex, with layers of warm spices like cinnamon and cloves and ground coriander and a hint of sweetness from the coconut milk. To my surprise, the thick curry simply suits my taste bud and it is not spicy at all! To those curry lovers who can't take too spicy food, here's your pick!

    After having our late brunch, headed to KLCC for PC Fair. Guess it will be super duper jam on the road as everyone is heading to the same place. Grrr, I hate traffic jams but have to bear with it. It's KL, urban city, what to do? Big sigh! 
    Upon reaching, crowds everywhere! I hate this part as well, but since came already, so we walked around. Shootings, yeah....kept on shooting the showgirls. This year's showgirls was lesser compared to previous. Spent half day at PC Fair, bought WD MY PASSPORT EXTERNAL HARDISK, leather hard case for my i-Read, optical mouse from Sensonic...etc. So damn heavy taking all those treasured stuff, and the photographer kept on shooting non-stop. My apology to Mimi and Chin Lee, unable to help you guys buy anything coz I only have two hands and insufficient of cash. =(

    Was so damn tiring and had swallow shoulders *Argh, I need massage!* Gosh, the LRT station was crowded, simply hate crowds! Get our tickets back to AP, collected our car and zoomed....back home. Slept in the car coz am so exhausted till moodless. Ordered Pizza Hut and watched "Confession of A Shopaholic" and most importantly is aircond! *grin* Miss and love this life, much better than in Kampar where you stuck in a hot and humid room. A nice movie....can't stand anymore...Zzzz
    Reviews on "Confession of A Shopaholic" : Directed by P.J.Hogan and casted by Isla Fisher, it is indeed a funny movie with romance. Click here for the summary of the movie. Shoppings!! This is what every girls crazy about but have a limited credit to do so...What's more? Work hard, earn hard, and shop hard! 

    Sunday...
    Woohoo! It's Sunday...gonna spend my whole day for shopping. Went to Bangsar Village and parked at the basement. Walked around boutiques at Jalan Telawi while waiting for my dear Nor. Felt so grateful that Nor meet me up even she is still sick. All the boutiques were on the sales of 20% store wide! Unfortunately, only manage to get two tops. =( 
    Met up with Nor and had our meal at THE DAILY GRIND. The restaurant is famous for their burgers, which is their signature dish. It comes in a big portion therefore we ordered a Down On The Farm Burger(Beef) and Salad Garlic Chicken and fruit juice for both of us. The restaurant is quite cosy with dim lights along with oldies, indeed a very typical western restaurant. We kept on chatting while eating, end up sitting there for 2hrs+ before we go for boutiques haunt.

First time in my life for such expensive parking fee! Continue shop at 1U, main purpose is to look for something for someone since I got nothing to buy already. Prolly over my limit, battery flat..seriously need rest! Hang around at 1U then headed back home Zzzz...going bck to the dead town the next day..Presentation!

A Night with Tears

    I am suppose to be on the bed right now but I woke up and blogged this since I do not know who to go to.
    It's 2am in the morning, I shall be feeling exciting coz am going to KL. But, nothing thrills me. Instead, tears  and sadness came to me.

    Why am I awake and sat in front of my lappie? Credits to Twitter which makes me tears unruly. Was checking out twits before I shut my eyes. Out of sudden, saw your updates which is a hard ones as you seldom tweet. Am simply running out of my mind! What the hell am I doing that makes me run into it? Curiosity? Caring? Or??
    Clicked and checked them out. Thanked to my foolishness, gained an unhappy ones. 


    In tears because I see similarities 
    In tears because it reminds me of something
    In tears because I miss the notes you wrote to me
    In tears because I miss the meal you prepared for me
    In tears because I miss the days you take care of me when I am sick

    But I do not know whether you still exist deep inside me

    It's 4am and I am blogging at this odd hour, as what i did usually. It was a tiring day for me with 2 discussions for assignments, spending my day outside for whole day and eat at the wrong time, doesn't really have time for a proper meal. My day had just passed with works..again! Assignments and datelines really killing !!!

    Peeps! It's Friday!!! So excited coz I can go back to my home sweet home this week!! Alot of friends are going back from outstation, guess my weekend gonna be a hectic ones with dates and gatherings, but I like it! 
    Can't wait to go back, missed my grandparents so much!!Hoping my weekend will be a lovely and great ones!

    Weekend to-do list: 
    1. Service my yellowie
    2. Shower my yellowie
    3. Dinner with my buddies...*seafood at Lumut!* 
    4. Starbucks treat
    5. Grocery shoppings
    6. House chores
    7. Laundry
    8. Visit my grandparents *most important*
    9. Lunch/Dinner with parents, only if they are available for me..=(
