Gemma & James got married on probably the most memorable date of the year 080808. Gemma was the third of a group of friends whose weddings I photographed this year so I had the pleasure of already knowing lots of people at this wedding and shooting them again. Gemma got ready at her parents cottage before the service and the reception was held in a huge marquee set up in the back garden especially for the day.
James had even gone as far as beautifully re-landscaping the whole garden to accommodate it as well as leaving a lasting thank you to the new in-laws for letting them use it. After a beautiful ceremony in St Mary's in Chilton Foliat, the lovely couple enjoyed a perfect day with family and friends and a party that went until the small hours.
Gemma's shoes
The intricately designed cake
They had a designer make up a great logo to use on all their stationary
Gemma during the make up
Gemma arrives at the church
One of my favourites of the year, with all the fuss around her, Gemma looks serene under her veil
The entrance
Exchanging rings
We've done it!
Confetti time...
...and bubble time
The happy couple make their way to the reception
These looked so refreshing
Outside the cottage
Your turn, now my turn
Gemma looks simply stunning in this shot
Thought I'd try a bit of cross processing on this one
Time for speeches
Now lets dance and boy did they dance!
and dance...
Lanterns were lit around the garden as the night closed in
