On Saturday 21st July, Kate and Dan tied the knot at the imposing Romsey Cathedral. They were then supposed to be heading off to a marquee reception by the river on the Broadlands Estate. Unfortunately due to the non existent English summer their plans were washed away.
With great spirit, hard work and help from their friends and family they managed to create, in just over a day, a beautiful reception venue in the local Romsey village hall. I am sure the old hall has never looked so good and it just goes to prove how you can create a fantastic wedding look for any venue at all.
Replete with bunting, picnic hampers, tons of flowers, a jazz band, some very happy guests and a loving and high spirited just married couple this wedding showed that the weather really has nothing to do with making a wedding day special.
