Set in the the Chiltern Hills, in a small village called Great Hampden resides Hampden House A perfect venue for a wedding with plenty of grounds for guests to enjoy as well as a lovely rural church a stones throw from the famous house. This lets you have a two location wedding in the one location, quite rare.
I was lucky enough to photograph Karen & Craig's wedding in the church on 9th December, which was a lovely and emotional service. We then used the church as a backdrop for some pictures before moving across to Hampden House to capture the couples first moments together as husband and wife.
Inside the house there was a real contrast of styles and era's of decoration which gave ample opportunity for some great pictures. With a roaring log fire in one room and a party going on next door, no one seem to notice the cold. John Hampden looking down from his picture on the wall would of been proud of all his guests.
